                        FOLLOWING:
                        
                        1. CALL YOUR PREMISE*
                        2. DISPATCH THE POLICE
                        3. CALL A PROPERTY REFERENCE (FROM THE LIST YOU HAVE 
                        PROVIDED)
                        
                        *CALLING THE PREMISES IS PART OF THE "VERIFICATION" 
                        PROCESS, INTENDED TO REDUCE UNNECESSARY
                        POLICE DISPATCHES. IN MOST CITIES IN THE LOWER MAINLAND, 
                        IT IS REQUIRED BY BY-LAW THAT
                        WE CALL YOUR PREMISES BEFORE DISPATCHING POLICE.
                        
                        THE CALL PROCEDURE FOR YOUR ALARM SYSTEM CAN BE 
                        CUSTOMIZED TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS. 
                        
                        IF YOU ARE PRESENT, PLEASE ANSWER THE PHONE, AND CALL 
                        OUR MONITORING STATION, AND PROVIDE
                        YOUR "SECURITY CODE" TO OUR OPERATOR.
                        WHAT YOU MUST DO IN EVENT OF A FALSE ALARM
                        
                        
                        IF YOU HAVE ACCIDENTALLY CAUSED AN ALARM:
                        
                        ANSWER THE PHONE IF IT RINGS; IT MIGHT BE THE GENERAL 
                        SECURITY OPERATOR CALLING YOU.
                        PLEASE HAVE YOUR SECURITY CODE READY.
                        
                        CALL OUR MONITORING STATION IMMEDIATELY, AND PROVIDE 
                        YOUR SECURITY CODE TO OUR OPERATOR
                        HOW TO TEST YOUR ALARM SYSTEM
                        
                        
                        1. CALL GENERAL SECURITY SYSTEMS MONITORING STATION, 
                        ADVISE THAT YOU ARE TESTING THE ALARM SYSTEM, 
                        AND GIVE YOUR SECURITY CODE.
                        
                        2. TEST YOUR ALARM SYSTEM AS FOLLOWS:
                        
                        - ARM YOUR SYSTEM
                        - WAIT TWO MINUTES
                        - OPEN A PROTECTED DOOR OR WINDOW
                        - THE SYSTEM WILL GO "INTO ALARM" WITHIN ONE MINUTE
                        - DISARM YOUR SYSTEM (YOUR PHONE MAY GO "DEAD" FOR FEW 
                        MINUTES)
                        
                        3.CALL GENERAL SECURITY MONITORING STATION TO VERIFY 
                        RECEIPT OF THE ALARM,
                        AND TO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE FINISHED TESTING.
                        
                        FOR A MORE THOROUGH TEST OF YOUR ALARM SYSTEM CALL 
                        GENERAL SECURITY SYSTEMS' SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
                        WE WILL ATTEND AT YOUR PREMISES TO TEST ALL ASPECTS OF 
                        THE ALARM SYSTEM.
                        SECURITY CODE FOR MONITORING STATION
                        
                        
                        SECURITY CODE - YOUR SECURITY CODE IS A SIX DIGIT CODE 
                        THAT IS USED TO IDENTIFY
                        YOURSELF TO OUR CENTRAL STATION OPERATORS. IT ALWAYS 
                        STARTS WITH
                        AN 86 PREFIX, ( EXAMPLE 86-1234). IF YOU DO NOT KNOW 
                        YOUR SECURITY
                        CODE, CALL GENERAL SECURITY'S OFFICE.  
                        PROPERTY REFERENCE
                        
                        
                        THE PROPERTY REFERENCE LIST IS THE LIST OF THE PERSONS 
                        THAT WE CALL IN EVENT OF AN ALARM.
                        
                        PROPERTY REFERENCES MUST HAVE KEYS TO YOUR PREMISES, A 
                        KEYPAD CODE FOR THE ALARM SYSTEM,
                        AND A SECURITY CODE.
                        
                        KEEP YOUR PROPERTY REFERENCE LIST UP TO DATE. IT MUST 
                        ALSO INCLUDE:
                        
                        - YOUR WORK PHONE AND CELL PHONE NUMBERS
                        - CLEANERS NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS (COMMERCIAL)
